    I went out this morning to give the flock food and fresh water and saw my girl "Mama" laying in the corner, very weak, one wing hanging, not able to walk, but still alive.     Well, I separated the two girls and the babies from the rest of the flock. I just put them in a little rabbit hutch inside the coop, because my cousin said that some of his flock were killing his chicks, and I don't want to take that chance. They both seem to be taking care of ALL the babies...

    So, on day 22 the first baby hatched...... Here some pics, I was actually fortunate enough to get a few as it was hatching out. And I woke up this morning to find 4 more, so here's some pics of them....... And now there are 7.... Still waiting for 3 more to hatch out...

    Definitely NOT Buff Orpington, they are WAY too dark. I'd say that they are RIR, and they are pullets. That's my guess.
