    Rhode Island Reds and Buff Orpingtons. We lost the runt, a RIR, and the wife buried it. But, I got another from the local Co-Op. Not sure what breed she is though? She is brown with a black strip down her back. And, thanks, Ilovemyduckies!

    What age do you let your chicks free-range?

    We just got some new chicks yesterday. They are 4 days old and I have the same question as you do? (On a closely supervised short time outside in an enclosed area.) Gonna' follow your thread, LaynaDon95!

    I have a week old chick that is not eating.

    Night Crawlers! (Worms) Ours are 4 days old and would not eat (good) until after giving them some cut up worms. Now they are off and running! (Eating like they are suppose to.)
