I have been doing some research and am only on my first hatch but i dont want to keep going back to the same breeder over and over. Can you all recommend some reputable Bobwhite breeders? Thank you in advance!

Funny stuff. I myself have a German Shirthaired Pointer at the house, and she just wants to taste my birds so bad.... This is my cage new:
This is my cage now, notice the bite marks all up and down the 2x4 on the bottom. I cant really be angry with her, shes a bird dog.

Great read on Cots, alot of questions answered here. Hope it helps.
I am totally at this stage right now with my choice too... I just got the 50 Bobwhite eggs i ordered to incubate and see which i like better, man this is exciting! Good luck with your decision, its a tough one but try things out and just watch them so they dont kill each other.
I would think that is enough fresh air and would keep the droppings smell (amonia) at bay. Maybe put a small one at the top to keep anything rising moving. I did the same thing with quail and put a 3 inch hole near the top just for that and have had zero issues with my birds.
Should i elevate one of these or keep it on the ground? I use it for quail, the coutournix I have seem to like the single bay type but I think if i get a different type(Bobwhite) that these would be useful. Thoughts?
would this be a good quail incubator?

I watched the videos on usage and I dont see any reason why it would not be, thoughts?

Hi! I am currently in Granite Falls Washington, a father of 4 little girls and we are all trying to get into raising quail. I have a pair of Vally quail, two button quail and four Cotournix quail just to get a feel for what the kids and I would like. Thus far I am still not sure but leaning...
Should have mentioned sizes. Top one is 4' long by 2', flip top roof alot of easy accesses. Bottom one is 46" by 22", plan to add handles for ease of lifting, flip top roof, and a run to it if things go well.
