Hatched 2/14 from TNBearchick. All were fertile, I think I killed them somehow. 2 lavender orpingtons popped out! 3/4 silkie eggs got smashed by the PO, but only one didn't develop.

The last few hatches from shipped eggs I have had 3/9 4/9 1/4 2/7 2/12 3/9 hatch. The second number was not the eggs set, but the eggs at lockdown. This time I put 28 eggs into lockdown, 7 hatched, but one is fat and can't stand. Temperature was at 99.5 in a still air with 60-65% humidity. The...

I feel like a horrible hatcher...I had 7 hatch out of 28 eggs in lockdown. 3 Died while externally pipping, 3 died after internally pipping, and 3 might not have been alive at lockdown...that's the third hatch in a row! Maybe even 5th...the only good hatch I ever had was the first one.
