Finally got our ducks from Orschelns. What did we get?
They were actually runners, and all 5 ducks I got from Orscheln's were males ;) -
How long will it take for everyone to get along?
Thanks for all the input. I put them in the kennel in the coop starting Saturday night. I tried Monday evening to let them out into the coop while I was up feeding and stuff and the drakes took off after the babies. So I put them back into the kennel and today I let them all free range... -

We have 2 "baby" ducks they are now 4 weeks old. Our "big" ducks and 1 turkey are now 7 weeks old. They have sort of been attacking the babies when we are outside so I had been holding off on putting them in the coop with them but they are now too big to be inside and are outside. I have them... -

My guys are 5 weeks old in this picture. I would guess maybe 4-5 weeks. They grow so fast though. That is about a railroad tie and a half in the flower garden boarder there. -

Sometimes I feel like the bib is starting to disappear. It isn't as bold as it was when we first got them. When he swims it is almost completely gone...I have to look near his beak to see who is Pip and who is Squeak. :) Of course when he was outside it looked really apparent though, lol... -

I am leaning towards runners but they don't walk as upright as other pictures I have seen or as upright as the runner we have now. They do sort of look brown in the sun but they aren't brown they are black. One has a yellow bib and some yellow around the sides of his beak but his feet are all... -

OK I got outside with the ducks today. Finally warm weather again! They are now 2 weeks old. Grampies-Sorry to hijack your post. Maybe all the conversation about these little guys will help you determine what yours are. Either way I am sure you are in love with them already. -
