But one, and there always has to be one, has learned he can stick his tongue through the little square...

    We've built one of these and plan to put it to use starting tomorrow. I will post back on how it works, although my goat boys are only 8 weeks old so they may not be the best test subjects. Nevertheless, I believe this has to be better than anything I have tried thus far!!

    Thanks blondiebee181. Once I merge them, what about food? Do I feed everyone the medicated chick food or do I feed only the layer pellets or a combination of both? It seems my older ones would prefer the chick food but I'm not sure it has all the necessary ingredients for full-grown laying hens.
