21 weeks is a normal age for ducks to begin laying I believe. I too would wait until the ducks are more mature to begin incubating. I'm still learning about incubating and hatching eggs but I believe you get your best hatchability in the spring....anyone care to elaborate on incubating duck...

This is my first group of ducklings. So I'll be searching for some unrelated drakes for hatching eggs and of course I'll always have plenty of eggs for eating.
What would you charge or pay for 8-9 week old ducklings for eating? We are not going to process them, we will be selling them live. They are a light breed but the people who want them didn't seem to care what kind they were, maybe they don't know there's a difference.....
