I never had much luck with the dog cage thing. I always ended up giving her a few eggs. Do you have room for 2 or 3 more? If not, maybe others will reply.
I cleaned her up and put her in the garage. She is a little more active. Seems to have stopped bleeding but there is no skin left, and completely exposed
She is drinking. But sleepy-'looking on her feet. I have betadine. Someone told me hydrogen peroxide but I bet that would send it into shock it would sting so bad. I'll get a picture.
I have a Turkey poult that got out of the brooder and into the chicken coop. Was pecked on very badly. The poult is 4 weeks old and has about a 2 -2 1/2inch diameter area where they pulled the skin completely off. Any chance she will make it? Or should I put her out of her misery? She is...
I freeze the chicken feet and feed to them on hot days - they love them! BTW Hubby was not impressed when he opened the freezer and saw 10 chicken feet sticking up from inside a cup on the inside door! hahaha!!!

I have 8 chicks still in the brooder.. clearly I have at least 2 roos in there. their combs are way bigger and already turning red. One of them is fighting already with the other roo, and two of my EEs that I don't know if hen or roo yet. Will a roo seek out another roo at this age? or is...
