Well the two flocks are finally together, After 10 days of quarantine and adjustment and a clean bill of health. So far everything is going excellent, no fighting etc.

Well the 3 chicks hit a month old this week so i figured it was time to start allowing some limited free range. Mama and the roo still keep them close but they seem to love getting out of their coop and run.
Thanks for the quick reply, so far everything is looking great, the chicks are dry alert and moving, so I'm leaving them alone and not disturbing mom or them. Of course the roo has decided to stand guard at the door to their coop which makes checking on them eventful
So 3 of the 6 eggs my hen is sitting on hatched today, the other 3 haven't yet. I was thinking I would give them till tomorrow or the next day before removing them, any thoughts?
Thanks for the quick responses. I thought pretty much the same from pictures I've seen on line. The rooster is quite the fella, has a beautiful iridescent green tail feather and highlights on his wings, and quite protective of his lady.
These are my two chickens, the rooster came from a local shelter and the hen from a local chicken keeper. Said he thought she was a dominque, she is currently sitting on 6 eggs about 18 or 19 days in. Had them both over a year now. Excited for the hatching.
