Super crazy weather this year!
Funny that none of us are looking like we will have a white Christmas.... except maybe @sourland
And... son #3, at his house it is close to zero. At my house it is 14. Kids were hoping to work on the house and put the roof up... they worked a bit on...
So... after church today kid 3 drove down to my house with my new fridge.
Spouse and I SAT IN THE LIVING ROOM while the kids unloaded the old fridge, swapped the 2 out, kid 3 had been very careful to keep the new fridge upright... so it got plugged in right away...
The kids mopped the floor...
I agree! I am very proud of him!
He was hired out of college (was that his second year in College??), for a welding/ fabrication job in a town about 2 hours away. He has been very good at saving his money, and after working there for 2 years (or is it 3?? No idea), this summer he bought a...
I have been MIA... so a quick howdy...
Kids coming back home for the holidays.
Eldest is back for 2 weeks, first time I have seen him in over a year and a half.
A bunch of work this week...
AND, at the black Friday sales I bought a BUNCH! I bought ALL the appliances that kid #3 needs...

I should have all 5 kids home this Christmas!!! (Only had 4 last year) It has been about a year and a half since the eldest had been home. He will be here for 2 weeks. I am excited.
Also... I have a tooth ache. I keep hoping I am imagining it. It is that blasted crown. I had it...
I am thrilled with my cataract surgery. True, you can no longer adjust your focal length, so you will need readers... but I "upgraded" to lenses that corrected my horrible vision, so the trade off is well worth it!
I can now SEE at night! Truly great stuff!
It sounds like things are going as well as they can!
What an emotional mess! So much panic when even the smallest thing is wrong with a new born!
:hugs I am glad that things are improving!
@bobbi-j so scary about the baby. Was she earlier than they thought? It that why she is having issues?
Just scary. I hope your daughter in law is getting the support that she needs, both emotional and physical! She will probably need a hospital grade breast pump to get her milk to come in.
