I have 25 birds. This stuff was spendy (around $135.00) but should last me numerous treatments. Its the same ingredient that is in Trifexis (Elanco product). My birds are handle-able. Treating for mites on a hot 🔥 day...
We have discovered a fairly big mite infestation in our coop (and on flock). We live in the Pacific NW. Today will be unusually not (over 100 degrees!) I have to work the rest of the week and really need to treat the coop and hens/roos but am worried about over stressing them. Is it a bad idea...- witczakchicks

5 week old chicks not sure of breed!
I was thinking that too but she is very small. Could it be a Cochin or bantam with that coloring?- witczakchicks

5 week old chicks not sure of breed!
Picked these chicks out of 2 bins at feed store....2 from the bantam bin and 2 jungle fowl. Only 2 have feathered legs/feet. Any ideas on breeds?- witczakchicks

So I recently went and got a handful of new chicks (4 weeks ago).. And because my husband is half Polish he thought it would be fun to get to Polish crested chicks... and of course they're straight run. I've been looking to adopt a rooster so if I end up with a rooster I'll be totally cool with...- witczakchicks

What breed or mix of rooster is this?
I kind of feel bad 4 her.. guess it's common that they see people dump off chickens and roosters at the dump... The nearby town has a hen only rule so I can see where people would dump off roosters sometimes. I have a large property and a large coop! I should have grabbed her.- witczakchicks

What breed or mix of rooster is this?
I saw this (what I think is a rooster- seemed to have spurs) at the garbage dump today. I loved the colors. Wasnt sure what breed.- witczakchicks

New chicks from feed store...
We picked up some chicks last weekend at the feed store... These came out of the olive eggers, bantams and jungle fowl bins. Any thoughts? I'm pretty sure I can identify olive eggers..not sure of others.- witczakchicks
