    Freezing eggs.

    I crack eggs into a silicon muffin tin and freeze them. I then pop them out and place them in freezer bags. I never could find ice cube trays large enough and they pop right out of the silicon. Works great. Just thaw out the number that you need for baking.

    Nice pics soldier! I brrod my chicks in a converted rabbit hutch which is in the run with my Wellies. Sometimes a few chicks get loose while feeding them and my roo is always right there protecting them from curious hens. I agree... a Great Breed!!

    I thank you for your comments. A couple of questions. Are you saying that the white fluff at the base of the tail sometimes disappears after the first molt and the cocks that come through the molt without it would make good breeders to control that issue? All of my birds are one year old...
