A coyote found my chickens and I am in a panic
A coyote got five of my girls Saturday night. We are devastated, as they were our first flock (from last year). The remaining four and the roo are quite shaken, and barely come out of the coop. Will they relax any? Maybe it's not good for them to relax too much, but I hate to see them so scared...- MariaNJ

Backyard Wedding, Ribbons for Chickens?
I am getting married in my backyard in two weeks. I thought it would be fun/funny if my girls wore bows. Has anyone ever done this? Will they tolerate bows, or try to peck them off of each other? I have 12 chickens - 8 weeks old, I *think* they are all hens, waiting to see if one of them crows...
