    Cold col, what is too cold

    My silky hen did the exact same thing when she laid her first egg. She went straight into the most isolated corner she could find in the coop and sat there the entire day until she laid her egg. After that she went right back to being the little diva she is.

    I'm not sure where you are located, I'm in California, but I have two purebred silkie roos. One is blue and the other is a splash with some buff leakage. I could send you pictures if want.

    8 week old chick with twisted toes

    I have a little silky cockerel with a toe that's twisted underneath his foot. He limps a little but he's otherwise fine. Is there anything I can do?

    This is either a light brahma or a Delaware roo. Definitely not an ameraucana.
