    Pea gravel outdoor flooring for the run - good or bad?

    we have sand in our closed coop area and it is super easy to clean up with a kitty litter shovel a few times a week. and pea gravel all around 20X20 area outside of coop and my husband just hoses it all down once a week so poop drains to bottom of gravel, again SUPER EASY!

    okay...guess it is just the noise complaint then. It is illegal to have roosters in Dallas city limits. But if he is a rooster he is a quiet one for 13 weeks... now I have my hopes up a little. looking forward to seeing your hen photos MamaMarcy! You are giving me hope!!!!

    Wow. This was really helpful. I am glad I posted photos! Blackie LOVES to sit in my lap. Here is another photo. I guess we will find him a new home...don't really feel like dealing with fertile eggs and angry neighbors. :( We will miss blackie THE ROOSTER!
