    I was given a choice for blue, black, splash or to get black and blue-- a blue over Mr. Beauford's black. I saw how fondly you spoke of him, and I did a search online for him also. He was a very capable breeder from the looks of what I found so I chose the blue over Beauford blacks. :)

    Getting a set of juvie Black English Orpingtons and 13 Blue, Black, and Chocolate split eggs! These will be my first! I have read through over a couple hundred pages here and definitely picked up some information-- looking for the horse shoe tail, not pinched, hens give the size, dark eyes, etc...
