Try seperating each hatch. Hatch a batch from one hen and your rooster, see what you get (partridge or crossbeak), then do another hen, then another. The cross beak and partridge don't have to neccessarily be from your roo, it could be one of the hens. But if they show up in more than one hatch...
That buff is strange =) would be interesting to see what it looks like when it gets older! The other one may be a grey or a self blue, or even a splash possibly.
I have heard to give them higher protein food, like 21-22% multi flock or starter/grower and just supplement oyster shell. Because they are not daily layers.

looks a bit like Icelynn. If the head is darker without the flash she is just a light blue. I have a picture of Ice where the flash makes her look self blue
