Red streaks over eyes and skin along beak

My silky hen has streaks of red above her eyes and on the skin along her mouth and beak. I recently lost a silky rooster, who also had those visible signs. He was much sicker than she is right now. I really need to find out as much as I can to try and treat her myself.

    One sick hen

It's gotten cold here in NY. All but one hen seem fine. She looks cold; standing with feathers close and not eating. I've given her some fluids with a surringe. Any ideas for this time of year illnesses?

Help!!! Is it a hen or a rooster?

Very deceptive. If you're not getting any crowing by now, you have hens. The one with the larger comb does look like a Rooster though. But, really. My roosters all started crowing when they were fairly smaller than your's.

This Oliver; such a well mannered Silky Rooster, who loves being on my lap. Even the Hens seem to like him, maybe because he's not a bruit, like some of the other guys. I'm redoing this, because I'm not sure I've done this correctly before.

Can someone recommend a spray to seal my turkey's legs. Scaley mites.

Really, WD40? What do you notice with it? Pam? I guess I worry about the vasaline or anything slippery, considering he goes on roosts. I just feel I need to keep at it.

Can someone recommend a spray to seal my turkey's legs. Scaley mites.

It's hard to get people near this turk. He is big. I will continue with the vasaline and a few drops of the ivermectin. I've considered removing the higher roost, so he has no place to run to. Will do that in the morning. Maybe then, I can get one leg done, then wait for him to return to...

Can someone recommend a spray to seal my turkey's legs. Scaley mites.

I've used drops of ivermectin on my turkeys legs to kill scaley mites. Although, I've tried covering his head to seal his legs and feet, I could get the job done like that. He is huge! I've waited til he's on his roost at night. I can easily reach his limbs, but before I can finish, he flies...

The skin on my rooster's legs is splitting.

Thank you; I didn't know I could get Ivermectin in a pour on. A couple of years ago, I found out I could treat everyone, including my turkeys, with Advantage for cats for insects. For various reasons, I hadn't done it yet. So, I found the pour on at Tractor Co. I've been standing his...

The skin on my rooster's legs is splitting.

I've first noticed "Red" walking strangely a couple of months ago; like a Nazi goose step. I know he has scaley mites, and I've been treating him for it. But, I see the skin is splitting open down through the fatty tissue, from where the feathers stop before his feet and up the front of both...
