Quail stopped laying?
As of yesterday, over a week after they stopped laying, one of our Quail dies and the other doesnt look well. Wondering if anyone has an idea why this would be happening? Their cage is cleaned regularly, they have food and water daily. Im so confused! -

I have 2 Japanese quail (molly & mildred) and a few days ago when the temperatures were really high (109 degrees) they stopped laying. Yesterday and today have been cooler and still nothing. I thought maybe it was just too hot and they went on "egg strike" but now Im not sure. Anyone have any... -
Are certain dog breeds better around chickens?
I have 3 pit bulls and they have recently been introduced to our chickens and quails. The chickens walk around free range through the backyard and we have not had any issues. We were a little worried at first but all 3 have done great with them...after a little sniffing around of course. =)- maxandme
