    Hi, Alvin Theriualt in Staceville,Me was the last breeder of the true Metz and Hebert lines of genetic hackle that sold eggs until 2010 when i got my eggs from him.We tie flies daily from the flock in size 12 to 18.Beaverkill Outfitters out of Rome,NY ocassionaly sell eggs from this line also.

    Hi , my name is Ed and I am a hatchoholic .I have 23 birds in the brooder,32 eggs in the incubator,60 phoenixs in the coup. The wife said it was her or the birds. Sure do miss her but the chicks are so moch easier to please.

    Hi, does anybody here have grey jungle fowl eggs to sell or trade? I am a fly tyer and want to raise a few for the jungle cock eyes. I have genetic hackle stock chicks from Alvin Theriault's line I can trade eggs with you this fall when they start laying.

    We lost power here in Maine for 2 days in January. I floated the incubator in my hot tub and used the woodstove to replenish the hot water as it cooled down.Still had an eighty percent hatch with bantam phoenixs.
