    So, my girls started laying eggs 3 days ago, and my husband found the 1st< my 7 year old found the 2nd< and my 17 year old found the 3rd today.... lol, i just want to see an egg laying in the nest,,,,, and their never there when i look, my hens are playing tricks on me!!!

    I have 6 hens, that are all about 2 weeks apart in age, im not sure of one off the oldest girls, ill post a pic of her, shes black and white striped, but the other oldest (which they are about 4.5 months old ) the other is a rhode island red, the next two which are 4 mths old are New Hampheres...

    We just got our first egg this morning, we were all so excited! The oldest girls are 17.5 weeks old, it made a rather gloomy morning for me an awesome day!!! :)
