I wait intil mine are almost or the same size as my adults,then at night when its dark I take all my new chicks and rub them on the adult so they smell alike and I have not had a single problem.
If you found no bodies it a fox.if there is it a racoon,dogs or cayote.iknow how fustereating it is I lost around 37 chickens to wild dogs. so that night I stayed up and waited for those dogs to come and they did I shot one of the dogs and I haven't seen them in forever now.

Well I'm from the out skirts of spokane washington and I'm so ecited I have 18 buff orpingtons 2 more rouens and 1 cayuga egg in the incubator I can't wait!:D
I had to do the same thing that farmerboy24 did to 2 of my rouen eggs and it turned out that there eggtooth broke and they got stuck.now there running around creating chaos
