So we are leaving for a few days and we have this neighbor kid who will be taking care of them. When I showed him what to do and my rooster kept following us around jumping at him. Is there anyway to make him less aggressive? Or is it just a phase?
Thank you so much! Should I be worried because it is so close to her head? Well actually on her head. Can chickens get concussions? My big chickens were pecking her so, or brain damage?
UPDATE: standing, eating, drinking (on her own) but still isn't quite her normal self
So today my chicks were out in thier run while my big chickens were out and about. the fence blew over and one got out and now its whole back of its head is bloody and is about the size of a quarter
ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO DO WILL BE APPRICATED!!!!!!!
Ok, so somewhere (don't ask me I can't remember) I read that in the waterers for baby chicks you should put rocks in it. (like biger rocks not like grit) So that the chicks don't drownd themselves....Could someone please correct me if I'm wrong doing this, or just say I'm right.
We got a HUGE bag of bread from the local bakery that was out of date to sell to humans but my chickens absolutly love it its a good before bed time snack!!
