I am looking to set up an easy clean brooder that will hold up to 30 chicks.....how much room do I need?

yes they should but dont do it a lot because you will start to get deformaties liek cross beak,too many toes, wrong tail, blind eyes.....so only do it for 2 generations or so.. and everyonce in a while bring in a new rooster or hen.....so that you have more show breed quality
how do i raise baby chicks with a broody hen? Like how do i set up a container for her to stay in? How old til. i put them outside? What is the best type of hen to go broody? Inside or outside? Where? HELP! How old should the hen be?

How long after you treat can you consume the eggs? We treated with dusting powder (permethrin?)...used to treat lice/mites....for 20 birds but only one showed ANY signs of lice with eggs on the feather base..Dusted the coop and the birds lightly, but not sure if or when eggs are safe to eat? I...
No it was the powder to treat the flock for lice...dusted on the vent, under the wings....Didn't actually SEE any lice, but think there were some eggs on vent feathers of only one of 20...BUT....treat them all. Just not sure when egg consumption is ok....
