US and Puerto Rico only.
The birds are from my own line, I have been working with them 6+ years.

All eggs are fresh and unwashed. It rains here a lot in Oregon, so any debris would be mud. My coops are cleaned daily...
Be very careful when you are buying from unknown people. I cannot say this enough. There are people out there that have no issue selling diseased birds/chicks, Marek's, MG, MS, etc. Some going so far as to dope their birds up on antibiotics prior to sale so they may "look" healthy. The best...
Ha! I was just looking at that today right before the ODA vet came for testing. I guess between ODA and the USDA they are sending vets to the stores. Really cool!
It sounds right to me in uncomplicated cases, I would think it would be higher when combined with an E. Coli infection. But we need to remember that the embryo and chick deaths should factor into the equation.
Here is what I have found. Even talking to the state vet's etc. People like to say "95% of backyard flocks have MG". But no where, not once has any study been conducted to verify that statement. Ask them how they come up with that number. They do not have a source. Not once. Ever...

I have Orpingtons (different varieties) and just started a sizzle pen this year. They are soooo cute!
You cannot advertise as being MG free unless you are certified. I suggest you advertise as testing for disease. Then have pictures of the lab reports within the advertisement to be able to...
I have been selling for a few years. My waiting list is 6 months out (before I cut it off), I do not advertise. I could easily have a year waiting list or more. I would be happy to share other MG certified farm's pages or web addresses with inquiries. With that said; I do not have more than...
NICE!!!! I had not heard of her, I have her on my list now. I am also MG certified, now the only one in Oregon, but I am pushing others to join me! Anyone else have any leads????
The biggest threat with the HPAI is if you have free ranging birds that are in direct contact with wild waterfowl. This is something that is not going to go away any time soon. Douglas County is now under quarantine.
