Hello, I see this thread is old, but unfortunately I lost my female pekin a couple of weeks ago :( and I've tried all my night to get another, (I love the breed) anyone have any ideas?

There is a red veiny line running around the middle of the egg, and when I candle it I can see a small dark mass move inside when I rotate the egg! I don't really know what I'm looking for Thank you for replying

Im just incubating a duck egg at the moment and is around 11 days old. and this is what it looks like, is this right??
