    I would absolutely not let them go to just anyone. I would definitely sell them local and make sure they were actually good people. I don't want it to seem like oh I've have these horses that are old and useless and i don't want them (i mean thats the reason kill pens exist which is super sad)...

    Ok I am looking for some advice/help. I have 3 horses that my grandparents have had for years ( my oldest is 34!!!!!). They adopted my mare (the oldest) when she was 1 1/2. Later they bred her twice hoping to get a filly, they ended up with 2 colts and long story short we still have them today...

    Red around chickens eyes help!!!

    All of our chickens have this red/orange skin around their eyes. Is this normal ? Our last bunch of chickens didn't have this I don't think. We also just recently got a rabbit which is staying in her own hutch in the chicken coop could this have an affect on them? Any help is appreciated thanks

    Maybe you want to make sure she has enough protein. You could give her yogurt,Cheese ect. That helped when ours weren't laying

    12 babies + 2 laying hens

    What we did was fence in a little area in the coop just so they couldn't run the full area considering they we really small. We also made sure they knew where the food and water is , otherwise yes they should be fine and they will adapt quickly

    I only have 6 chickens but we use big outdoor dog kennel for ours just an idea i You may need something bigger for 20 chickens but hope this helps
