WOw, great info thanks all. Funny, I'm not worried about my kids, my dogs and cats I am slightly worried, my rabbits...slightly...but I have been freaking out about my ducks and chickens...thanks to all of you advice I feel better. Thank so much!!!
Wasn't sure where to post this...we currently live on LI and are moving to GA. It is a 19 hour drive....how do I transport my 10 chickens and 7 ducks safely? I am reaching out for ideas...I have been stressing about this...I don't want to them to be too uncomfortable.
Free Cuckoo Maran Rooster, very gentle, nice personality but he has started crowing and we cannot have a crowing bird in our neighborhood. We are willing to drive him to you (within 2 hours), or at least half way. We are on Long Island.
We have 4 ROuens and 3 Khaki Campbells...they were fine in the cold but when temps got below 0 we put a heat lamp in their house...only at night...we five them warm water a couple times a day... they seem happy...no ducksicles yet.
We are just nervous someone will make a sound complaint... and when we are in the yard with people she is louder.... if I yell at my dogs or say something loud she gets louder....well they... it's both Khaki girls
thanks for the response she is a busy body for sure.... her sister isn't as loud but she's close.... idk I might have to find her a new home.... we are gonna wait a while and see... she is only 13 weeks old at this point... maybe she will grow out of it
