Naked chicken butts
What is everyone doing to prevent this bottom picking issue though...I am not sure what to do....we have a Turken/Naked Neck Chicken a Black Chicken which I think is an Austrolop and then we have 5 white chickens I think they are Austrolops but I ordered a mix so not sure but they are awesome...- KarenLynn

Can molt effect egg size?
I definitely think moulting affects egg size and makes them smaller temporarily. I have raised four flocks of chickens and now have girls in their third season and they can be very unpredictable.
