Has anyone heard of are seen broad breasted auburns?
My "black Spanish" are bronze. I haven't had luck hatching at all. My hens did not go broody and my chicken I tired setting them under will bust the eggs. Does that mean they are no good? -

Turkeys For 2013
One of the bourbon reds hatched this morning. The eggs are in lock down along with the holland whites I received from Ceclie. I'm super excited to see how many will hatch. I want to get more eggs from you please put me back on your waiting list. Will post pictures as soon as I can. -

They are several feed stores in my area and almost everytime I go in to check out a new one and their prices, someone there will say that. And then in the same breathe ask "do you have any for sell?" I'm sure my facial expression says it all. -

I had a horrible experience. I ordered poults from a hatchery they sent 19 and 3 survived. If you decide to ship please put warming packs, shavings or hay in the shipping box. It took 3 days for the poults to get from vw to louisiana. It was terrible opening the box and the poults were dead... -

I would love to have that bator. This is our set up. We made a bator out of a small frig, hatcher our of a small wine cooler with a glass door so we can all see them hatch. The wine cooler we call "lock down"!! The bator fits around 48 chicken or turkey eggs and around 180 plus quail... -
Newbie here...Incubator Question
The wine cooler in on the top and we had quails hatch last night so everyone can see them. The mini frig can hold almost 60 turkey & chicken eggs and quails eggs around 180. We are not hatching any chickens at this time we have too many already. I have turkey eggs in the bator right now... -

We converted a mini frig into a bator and it works great. There is a youtube video on how to do this step by step. We also converted a mini wine cooler into a hatcher and when the eggs go in there we call it "lock down". Works great, especially if you have small children that want to watch...
