Duck eggs are sold in HALF DOZENS to insure the freshness of the eggs, if you want more than a half a dozen they...
we use the water test........take a clear glass fill it up with warm water, if it sinks to bottom and lays flat it's a week or less old, if the fat end of the eggs starts to float up it's 2 weeks old, if whole egg floats right above the bottom of glass....chunk it!!
we usually keep our new ducks up for a couple days, then turn them loose to free range with the rest and never had a problem with any of them running off...if it is a breed that can fly, i would advise clipping their wings
we've found treats like tomatoes and interaction with them during bath time in pool(via spraying down with water hose when it's real hot, or just the waggle they get in their tail when they see you refilling their pool with fresh water)

i have 9 different breeds of ducks currently, Indian runner being my favorite.....but to answer your question mine get along great i even have a blue indian runner hen that shares a nesting box with one of my blue splash ameraucanas.......they lay their eggs together
I know your question is out of curiosity but why would you want to take the most distinctive feature associated with the moscovie breed? I used to think moscovies mask was ugly unattractive.........til i bought my first one, now they are one of my favorite breeds of ducks!!
