    Well of course he starting crowing on Friday, so he has moved to a farm. Thanks for all the post. I have and order coming in Jan of Dorkings, so maybe I will get another cool chick with them.

    Thanks again for letting me know. I do think he is a handsome guy! He hasn't started crowing yet, he is 6 months old. Is that normal? I would love it if he never started because we live where your not allowed to have chickens, let alone a rooster. @kyfarm we are in Florida.

    Thank you everyone. I am new to raising chickens and he came in my second batch. Now I know what I have.

    I am assuming it is a rooster, but he is about 6 months old and has not crowed yet - hasn't set on the nest either. He is handsome but not sure of breed. I got him from McMurray as the free rare bird. He is a regular sized bird - not a bantam.
