Well thank you very much, I'm sure on behalf of everyone else here aswell! You should definitely add some cochin bantams to your flock they are such funny little characters and pretty good layers for fancy bantams. Any questions ask away the are a helpful and experienced bunch here.
My krainkoeppes are incredible flyers. They can be stood stationary at my feet and fly up vertically about 9 feet to land neatly on a tree branch above my head. I agree that they are very intelligent also. They seem to love fruit and sweet things a lot more than my other breeds. They were very...
Couple of frizzles out of blue and normal millie projects. May 2014 hatches
And Dante Jr
Sorry for the awful quality and mud everywhere! The weather has been awful and the sunsets early here. Cannot wait for march and the lighter evenings. Hope to have better photos soon.
Hi did u get your birds yet? I managed to snap a couple of new pics of mine as they grow. No eggs yes though. Do you have any pictures if you have got them?
The large fowl are lovely but I have only a small back garden so only room for bantams. Plus I keep pekins bantams!
Mine also start to lay around 6 months. The ones I hatched in may are just getting ready to lay but it's been awful weather here. Do you let them free range maybe they are laying in an odd place? Is it very cold there and have they had their first moult?
Hi orumpoultry mine still haven't started laying. It doesn't seem to be a very active thread atm but I will update as mine change and grow would love to see pics as the grow. Are you getting bbr or silver ducking? Standards or bantams?
I also love the first boy. His type is fab. To get more colour back in try and find a nice black mottled split mf or a nicely marked mf girl with quite a bit of red. Ooh I would love him on the hunt for an unrelated cockeral atm but it's a little far to travel!
oh thank you so much that means a lot as these are my second generation great to know I'm doing something right I have some great pullets from this year too. It's a bit of a mud bath at the moment but will try and get some pics. Dante Sr seems to send a lot more of his genes to the cocks than...

General characteristics:
Male:
Type: Body short and broad. Back short, increasing in breadth to the saddle, which should be very full, rising well from between the...
He is pure pekin bantam they seem to look a little different than bantam cochins (I am in the UK) less leg. Plus he is bent over looking for corn. I am quite new to them (only second generation of millefleur). Please could you help educate me and tell me whats wrong with the comb? Are there too...
