male duck going after my hens

thank you everyone for your quick responses. we got the ducks as an "impulse" buy with our last batch of baby chickens. They won't let me pet them or carry them like the hens do, so we will be getting rid of them. Debbi

male duck going after my hens

We have 12 hens, 2 roosters, and 2 ducks (male and female). Our male duck keeps chasing and trying to make with our hens. Sometimes the rooster chases him, but not usually. How do I keep my male duck from doing that? He just seems unusually rough and causes our hens to scream. Thanks. Debbi
