    Can anyone help with this? I have 6 redstar pullets 3 of them appear to have diarrhea. They are eating fine and have plenty of energy. Their stool is same color as normal, but vents are messy. Will this go away? Do I need to treat it? Thanks for your help. J

    Most chickens start laying between 18 to 24 weeks or longer. Some sexlink chickens may start sooner. however this time of year they may begin later.. A night light may help.     All of my chickens stopped laying eggs except for one. What could be the reason? Please anyone?

    I agree with the others . Growing up we always had chickens and the hens would all but stop laying during the winter months.I bought 6 pullets a few weeks ago just started getting eggs. A night light and some laying mash may help. Good luck J
