My turkey will not get off her empty nest

If you do not want to buy her adoptive babies, then I would say your only hope is to buy a cple more females. I know when one of my hens gets a mind to wander off and do her own thing, they always seem drawn back to the other turkeys if they do not follow. I say she needs buddies to help teach...

I would like to set up some natural nesting spots, what can I do to attract a nesting Turkey? I was thinking of adding several small dog houses...

    Poultry Shipping Requirements?

If you do decide to start shipping birds, my only suggestion to you would be this. Shipping poultry is risky business, esp young birds, the stress can and does kill them. Have a good solid contingency plan for when this happens so you are not flamed :)

    Poultry hollow hatchery

P.S. I did contact my Peacocks breeder the moment it arrived sneezing, and got the same "I cant control what happens when my bird leaves here" response. I was going to light him up, but my vet defused my anger with logic :).. I knew the risks of shipping. My peacock had 2 rounds of...

    Poultry hollow hatchery

How can you be sure they did not fall ill during shipment? I do not like shipping poultry, esp young birds, they do not seem to fare well. I had a peacock I spent $150 on arrive sneezing, the other 2 hens were fine. The male dropped dead 2 weeks later despite vet care and he found nothing wrong...

Poultry Hollow Review Q&A - Brush Creek TN

1st, I would like to say I have read almost every review on here about Poultry Hollow before visiting. I am appalled at some of the down right unfounded and vicious things people have said about this farm. This is a family run hatchery, who has been in business many years.. There was another...
