    Hens and children sharing wood play structure? Issues?

    Hi I was wondering have you finshed your modified play structure coop? We have an old structure like this too and are thinking about trying that. Just curious how its working out and would love to see a picture. Do you have any tips? Have a great day

  6. Lucy Quiche and Wilma Soufle, my two rescued hens. Lucy is 3 and Wilma is 2. We are building a coop for them in the Spring. They like the dog house for now they cuddle in the back at night and I put up a heavy piece of plywood in front of the door and a very large rock in front of it so they are safe at night. They seem happy and love to make dust baths against the house. I thought they were trying to make a nest and their previous owner said that they were having a dust bath and that meant they were happy. They are so sweet and fun to watch.

    The coop is great. I love the curtain too. Do the chickens like that better? I am new to chickens and been trying to figure out/researching what I need to do for the chickens and their coop.
