    I've never seen this in an egg before

    My mom sent me a photo tonight of one of my eggs that she had hard boiled. A hard brown ball was inside left on the cooked white. It's from one of my RIRs, and there isn't a rooster around for miles. Never had anything turn up in their eggs before. Any idea what this thing is? Thanks
