    Yes we give them diatomaceous earth about every 6 weeks or so. We live in an area that is plaqued with worms.

    Very good looking boy......poor Roscoe doesn't have any tail feathers because the other roosters kept them pulled out. Hopefully with there not being any roosters with the hens now except Roscoe they'll grow back in soon :)

    I have a couple of pics of "Roscoe" but they're not that good. If I can find the time I'm going to take more pics. He's one solid clump of a rooster :) He's 17 months so I believe he's as big as he's going to get. All of the chickens are going thru molt now so most of them look pretty scraggley LOL.

    Great looking rooster. We have a Dom rooster too and ours is more compact and muscular. I know he's purebred Dominique. He has a rose comb. Do they vary in body like that?

    Anyone know of a purebred bantam chicken that weighs less than a pound and "looks" like a Dominique?

    We have a friend that's looking for a bantam rooster that "looks" just like a Dominique and they even say it's called a "Dominique". And that it weighs less than 8 ounces. We have raised several breeds of chickens but always the BIG breeds. I had never heard of a bantam like that...anyone else...
