Anyways I'm legal didn't have any roosters, as I didn't want any myself.
I accidentally had a pullet that turned out to be a hen and after 1st doodle he got sent to my friends farm lol.
Yeah I get to keep them my local code enforcement guys are nice, but I'm legal and grandfathered in.
I apparently wasn't the original person the complaint was about but I became the target.
I did everything from day one to make sure didn't offend my neighbors even spoke to them.
But one works...
Im glad to see I'm not alone on this because a news crew came to my house today to interview new about a change in local code regarding having chickens and complaints made to city council.
I've never received any complaints and the new code was news to me.
check it out on kwch channel 12 I live...
Yes nice to see I'm not alone.
today I had a news crew come to my house asking to interview me about a recent city ordinance change regarding chickens.
I live in park city KS a suburb of Wichita KS.
I was asked if I new about the change of course I didn't because when I started my flock there...
I have a hen that came with a trio of red sexlinks that I recieved from a friend ,after adding them to my flock of younger hens she is extremely shy and doesn't leave the coop.
The other 2 blended in after a few days with no problems but she is bullied by everyone and I've noticed she is an egg...
I just hatched a batch of BO x barred rock, white rock, white Leghorn, red sex link every one so far has been identical in color.
basically they are all yellow or slightly yellow reddish. Will post pics when they all finish hatching.
