    I haved found that they like to play with a pile of ice cubes or some frozen fruit/vegetables. I'm in Maryland and we are going for 100 plus tomorrow.

    I have had silkies and I feel like they are just adorable and friendly. I think I agree with you,drbreana, that they are a little more delicate than some other breeds. But worth it.

    I've had orders from mypetchicken.com. No problems, chicks lively. As far as I know, this is the only hatchery that sells bantams sexed. Also, it's a great place for people with very small backyards(like me)and only need a few chicks.
