No I lost that rooster before I could hatch any chicks. I did not try to build that color from scratch. I am just now thinking about trying to recreate his color from scratch. Any advice on this apreciated. I am thinking of crossing a Rhode Island Red or Production Red rooster over Dominique...

Thought I would bump this thread up since its been a while.

My Favorite Breed is Turkens. The reason why is they are odd, they also lay good. And they are sweet.

Here are my Turkens.

Black Eyed Peas stand for luck. And we Always Eat cabbage and Black eyed peas with ham in the peas.

Since the thread was buried I decided to resurect it. Figured some more conversation about the great Turken breed could happen.

Here is my main rooster.He is a Hatch/roundhead This Is my spangles. The are Whitehackle/Roundhead.

They are gorgeious. Love the hatch/roundhead.

Turkens are my favorite breed but I like Game chickens also.

The only bird I can think off that only lays one egg a year is a Penguin. Game chickens Lay more than one egg a year and will hatch more than one clutch also.

Just wondering how Godzilla was doing.
