These are shipping crates. I did buy a few boards but only from the culled pile. 70%off is not bad. I found some wire cloth on the side if the road! Jackpot!

I would make a bigger run! I had a beautiful backyard! Had- I let my 2 BR's out just a little a day and before I knew it dust bath bowls made, plants got scratched up even after I put rocks around the bottom and poop everywhere. They do it so quickly. We are building a large area on a hill...

We had a big problem with Black Widows and lizards. Since we got our chickens last summer I have not seen one black widow! I just saw a lizard yesterday but it was in the front yard. My son tried to catch it to feed to the girls but it got away!
Sometimes it is hard putting on those big girl panties! Good job! One day the front door to the pen that has the coop in it closed maybe the wind or one of the kids did it. Anyways the girls where sitting at the door waiting for me to let them in!
Hi there, here in Fountain Inn,SC. Just found this thread. I have two Barred Rocks and two baby chicks that I have know idea what they are. One went broody and a friend gave me a few eggs to hatch. I love my girls!
This is great to know , I am new to chicks. We got our girls right before they starting laying. Had one go broody and a friend gave a few eggs for her to hatch. 2 out of the 4 hatched and I was just wondering how long she would care for them.
Mine too! One time Lucy jumped up and knocked the cup out of my hand! Mine don't like dandelions. I would love for them to eat them. Could it be because they free range and can find other stuff they like better?
That is what I did! I have two chicks right now that the mother hen did not take them out until day 4. I free range my chickens so, she was ready to get out of the coop after sitting for so long. She kept them very close to the coop and pen until two days ago she took them up our hill to hunt...
