    Has anybody tried a cat collar on a rooster to quite him down a little purchased two hamburg hens then one decided he was a boy oohhhhh noooooooo I love him but the neighbours aren't as happy with him. Hopefully I won't have to re locate my little buddy

    After stalking the page for a few months its time to join in.The mini farm includes 1 wife 1 daughter and one more due in 2 weeks. 5 isa brown hens ,1 australorp ,2 hamburgs one has turned out a boy ohhhh no 5 silky's(2 boys) 2 white leghorns 1 staffy bull terroir 4 peach face parrots 2 cats too...

    how can u stop a rooster from crowing

    Has anybody tried a cat collar on a rooster to stop the crow leaving it loose enough to allow him to eat and drink but tight enough to let spread his throat and crow (next option is the pot)

    Thanks for the replays I think there both about 4-5 months old.We thought roosters but just weren't sure no crowing at this stage.........
