Re: aart We're in Victoria BC Canada, and the 4 girls were free ranging at the time. It's a big property with the coop way at the back. Sorry to hear it Sezjasper. I lost my first chicken tonight too. Upsetting indeed. It was an hour before dusk, and when I was closing up the coop I found 2 hens in the coop, 1 hiding in the bamboo "wall" at the back of our property, and the other in the far corner at the base of the bamboo wall...- StannardCoop
