    I have a 2 yr old golden comet hen who obviously has a respitory infection she is sneezing, wheezing and drooling, but she also has one foot and one cheek that are swolen. Could these be from the other infection?

    I think it's more likely she sustained a nerve injury in the neck by another chicken. I've had similar problems before, mostly with roosters, and it takes a while for them to get normal again. Keep her safe. ocb50

    Do you have netting on top, if not, possible hawk attack. They sometimes bit off head before eating rest of bird. Maybe you surprised before it could finish? That's all I can think of.

    Do you have electric fencing around the coop? If not, it is most likely a possom. They're head eaters.

    Hello chicken lovers. I have a silkie rooster that has blisters on his neck and under his wings That look like poison ivy. Took him to the vet, and the vet put him on 0.6 m/l of Trisuprim twice a day. The blisters dried up and fell off, but now they're coming back. He's also loosing feathers...
