It has been about 36 hours since it has hatched. I think it might possibly be in his hip joint. I don't see anything unusual about its feet. It just can bare any weight on its L side.
I just got finished incubating some gags and have new baby chicks. One of my chicks is alert and chirping but it can not stand up. I'm not sure what part is injuries, either a leg or a wing. What can I do for it. It just lays on its side and squirms around.
Your comments were very helpful after my last failure with incuabtion. I am now on my second batch of eggs on day 20. I have had 4 chicks hatch but one died, other 3 chicks are very activie and healthy so far (they just hatched within the last 12 hours). I still have 11 eggs left to hatch...
My temp was good the whole time. I don't have a humidty monitor. With my first batch I just watched them temp and kept damp cloth in there at all times to help with the humidity. Should I get a humidity monitor?
