    Coturnix are a lot easier to catch. You might catch them tonight. Make sure they can see the food. They are most likely in a fence line or under a large bush or honeysuckle.

    If they don't come back before dark, I think your only chance is early in the morning. Make food available. Are they Bobwhite or Coturnix?

    My fence is 4 ft tall. I also ran barbed wire about 4 inches above that.I didn't tighten it though. I let it "droop" a little bit. My chickens don't like landing on something that bounces. It keeps the neighbors Great Dane out and my chickens in :)
