Roobs my Rhode Island Red, he's a lovely boy, likes his cuddles and has just become a daddy for the first time.

We've just had our first red sex links hatch- our broody bantam has done a great job- she has 3 out, 2 to go. So far all cockerels :(. We'd like to buy some day old sexed chicks and swap them so we can dispatch the cockerels. Any advice on best way to do this to avoid upsetting mummy hen?

They're all born dark but mum is yellow and dad is reddish yellow so hopefully we'll have a nice pale yellow girl.
