We've just had our first red sex links hatch- our broody bantam has done a great job- she has 3 out, 2 to go. So far all cockerels :(. We'd like to buy some day old sexed chicks and swap them so we can dispatch the cockerels. Any advice on best way to do this to avoid upsetting mummy hen?
Ours are all colour shades (except one- she thinks she is quite something and refused all the colour names I suggested- you know when a name just won't stick!)
