    I was wondering since Silkies do not produce a lot of eggs per week or none at all as they are often broody.. will they lay more years then your typical egg producer that's slows or quits after 1-3 years. Thanks!

    Thanks, that's kinda what I was thinking the breeder's stock was Buff, white, black, splash and blue I was hoping for a Buff...but I found a few chick photos online and they didn't really look like buff chicks too me.. although they didn't really look like any of the Partridge ones I found...

    So far we have 2 Silkies hatched out, our little boy thinks this is the most amazing thing. Crossing our fingers for the other 3 eggs :)
